This fall, as part of the Lillian Gish Film Festival, The Westcott House Foundation will be celebrating the life and inspiring career of Springfield, Ohio native Lillian Gish. Not only was Lillian born in the right era, she was also born with the ethereal beauty and grace to make her a superstar in the silent film industry. The Lillian Gish Film Festival promises to be entertaining, stylish, and scholarly - as they assemble a top flight list of Gish enthusiasts, live musicians, and film historians to participate in a lively tribute to the screen's first great actress. Join us on Friday, September 7 for a special screening of Way Down East, the 1920 classic, with the live music score by Kevin Callison and visual compositions by The Now Device from Seattle, Washington.
