Color helps transform Springfield’s historic houses into the beautiful landmarks that we all enjoy! Join our coloring contest and show us how you would color the Leffel House on South Fountain Avenue. To enter the contest, simply color the image (available as a download or at the locations below), fill out the entry form, and drop off your masterpiece at one of the locations listed below. Open to all ages. Winning entries for each age category will be displayed at the Westcott House Museum and published online. Winners will be announced on July 8, 2016. Good luck!
Instructions:
- You may download a printable copy of the contest image here or pick up a hard copy at the following locations: Champion City Guide and Supply (137 East Main Street), 800 Paint Place (800 West Main Street), Harding Road Pharmacy (400 West Harding Road), Westcott House Museum (1340 East High Street)
- Contest begins May 15, 2016 and ends June 30, 2016. Entries must be received by the end of the day on June 30. All entries must be original and entirely created by the entrant. Only original colorings (no scans or photocopies) will be accepted. There are no restrictions on the colors or materials used.
- Limit one (1) entry per person.
- All submitted entries become the sole property of the Westcott House Foundation.
- We will announce one winner for each age category: Youngsters (6 and under), Children (7-12), Teens (13- 17), and Adults (18+).
- Entries will be judged by our three-person panel based on creativity, coloring skill, and overall artistic ability. The above criteria will be compared against other entries in the corresponding age category. One winner in each category will be selected. We will contact winners on or around July 8, 2016. The name of the winner in each category will be posted on the Westcott website (www.westcotthouse.org) and platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. Winners will also be displayed at the museum.
- To enter, pick up or print this official entry form and color it using your preferred medium. Entries must include your full name, age (at time of entry), address (city & state required), and current email address or phone number. Any entry missing the above requirements will be disqualified. Unless otherwise checked, contact information will only be used for the purposes of this contest. In addition to the drop off locations listed below, entries can be mailed to: Westcott House, 1340 East High Street, Springfield, Ohio 45505.
