Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy Annual Meeting

Cincinnati – Springfield, Ohio
September 22-26, 2010

This educational program is not to be missed! A real treat for the architecture and design aficionados, the Conservancy Annual Meeting offers a variety of educational sessions, special events and a unique opportunity to tour significant public and private structures designed by Wright and other distinguished modern architects. The theme of this year's conference is “Modifying Wright’s Buildings and Their Sites: Additions, Subtractions, Adjacencies.” The Westcott House, being a crucial part of the conference program, offers a fitting context for this theme as we are currently undertaking a Feasibility Study for the development of the properties adjacent to our site.

The participants of the conference will have a chance to visit Frank Lloyd Wright designed houses in the Cincinnati area, including Cedric G. and Patricia Neils Boulter House (1954), Gerald B. Tonkens House (1954) and William P. Boswell House ( 1959).

The Opening Night is planned at the Contemporary Arts Center designed by Zaha Hadid completed in 2003. The conference will convene at The Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza Hotel, one of the most spectacular Art Deco hotels in the country.

The Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy, an international preservation organization, is based in Chicago, Illinois. Founded in 1989, its mission is to facilitate the preservation and maintenance of the remaining structures designed by Frank Lloyd Wright through education, advocacy, preservation easements and technical services.
