The Westcott House Foundation started collaboration with Andy Hayes of Hucklebuck Design Studio in 2009 when he was asked to create a marketing piece for the exhibition of Miami University architecture students. "It was a fascinating journey to observe Andy's design process," says Marta Wojcik of the Westcott House, "his in-depth exploration of the subject positions his work among some finest examples of graphic art today." The Westcott Neighborhood poster received an award from Communication Arts Magazine and the first prize from the American Association of Museums. According to Hucklebuck's website "Leveraging his unhealthy addiction to hot caffeinated bean juice and a deep fascination with the incredibly beautiful inaccuracies of found typography Andy is sure that Hucklebuck will soon regain it's self assigned title of freshest/hardest working design studio in the Midwest."
Griffin House

A singer and songwriter, Griffin just released his new album, "The Learner". Griffin says that in some ways it captures the end of the era, an intense learning period. Griffin will perform unplugged in the gardens of the Westcott House - he will select the songs from “The Learner” and his previous albums as well as some new work that has not yet been released. Griffin says about the Westcott House "It's like having a giant Monet around the corner." [...] it's a great thing for Springfield to have, I don't think I could say that boldly enough."
