Wasmuth Drawings - Floor Plan

The Westcott floor plan follows the characteristic pattern of Wright's Prairie Style. The essential elements include a cruciform floor plan centered around a dominant masonry fireplace, positioned at the center of the living space, and an open interior in which the furniture and other furnishings are an integral part, designed in the context of the Arts and Crafts Movement.

Frank Lloyd Wright's plan included all components relating to the architecture, connecting independent structures by means of a pergola and terraces, thereby extending the influence of the architecture out onto the site, enhanced by Wright-designed urns and landscaping.
