Downtown Victorian for Early Birds Walking Tour

Saturday, September 21st from 7:30am to 9am. $20 per person.

Armed with a tasty cup of joe, we will explore Springfield’s Golden Age of architecture on this early morning walking tour. At the end of the 19th century, Springfield leaders understood that great architecture was part of their civic duty. With downtown as their canvas, architects painted street scapes that exemplified Springfield’s past achievements and future aspirations, including Warder Library (1890), City Building and Market (1890), and Bushnell Building (1894). Tour includes a coffee drink of your choice at Winans and a pastry tasting from Le Torte Dolce. Meet outside Winans Chocolate & Coffees, 32 North Fountain Avenue. Guided by Kevin Rose.

Please be advised that we do not mail tickets. You will receive an order confirmation by email. You will be automatically added to the attendee list upon the completion of your order.

This event coincides with Art for Wright, our annual art auction in downtown Springfield (9/20), the Springfield Antique Extravaganza (9/20-9/22) and ArtSoFo Fine Art Fair (9/21 - see artsofo.com). We will also offer a happy hour tour of the Westcott House (go to Programs & Events to learn more).
