Date:
Tuesday, November 19, 2019 - 5:30pm to 7:00pm

Tuesday, November 19th from 5:30 to 7pm.

$25 Westcott Member. $35 Non-Member. Wine and Light Hors D'oeuvres Included. Program for Adult Learners (21+).

The premise for this program is simple – each participant will be presented with a set of LEGO, a glass of wine and a fun design challenge! The workshop will be facilitated and judged by a team of Miami University architecture students and John M. Reynolds, MU Professor of Architecture.

Instructor: John Reynolds is a Registered Architect (Virginia), Professor of Architecture, and Coordinator of International Programs in the Department of Architecture and Interior Design at Miami University. He directed Architecture Graduate Studies 2001-2010. He has collaborated with the Westcott House for over a decade, serving over 180 undergraduate and graduate college students, as well as leading workshops for our region's high school students. This fall, John and his students will also facilitate a special workshop for the interior design class from the Graham High School. If you are a teacher or a parent interested in bringing a design-themed program to your school in the future, please send us an inquiry to info@westcotthouse.org.

This program is part of Westcott Design Hub, a design education initiative generously supported by the National Endowment for the Arts, Ohio Arts Council, Turner Foundation, Springfield Foundation and Ruth B. and Thomas F. Mackey Charitable Trust. Your tuition directly supports free family, youth and in-school programs that are part of this program.
