Visiting During COVID-19

We look forward to hosting you at the Westcott House! Please review our guidelines carefully to help us make your experience safe and enjoyable.


  • If you feel unwell or have symptoms of COVID-19, please visit another day. CDC recommends that even fully vaccinated people should still get tested if experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. If you develop symptoms after purchasing your tickets, please contact our staff at to reschedule your tour.

  • All visitors should reserve a tour ticket before visiting. We reduced the size of our tour groups to eight persons per tour to encourage comfortable physical distancing.


  • Our guests, as well as staff and volunteers, are required to wear face coverings while inside the building(s).

  • CDC recommends that unvaccinated as well as fully vaccinated people wear masks indoors in they are in an area of substantial or high coronavirus transmission. Clark County is currently at substantial level of transmission, and the surrounding counties are either at high or substantial level.

  • Make sure your mask fits snugly against your face. Disposable masks will be available to visitors who did not bring their own masks. If you are not vaccinated and have any health conditions that prevent you from wearing a mask, please do not plan a visit until the above recommendations are lifted. More helpful information about how mask wearing protects you and others can be found here

  • Staff, volunteers, and guests are asked to use preventive measures and apply hand sanitizer before proceeding to check-in area.

  • We have implemented strict cleaning and sanitation practices in all our spaces. Our staff will be responsible for disinfecting high-touch surfaces and cleaning the bathroom routinely between the tours.

  • We are adopting contactless checkout and payments as much as possible. We encourage visitors to pay by credit or debit card. Plexi shield has been installed at our register station.


In addition to tours offered to the general public, you are welcome to schedule a customized tour for your family or friends by reaching out to Marta Wojcik, Executive Director & Curator at The requirement to set up a special tour will be minimum of four and maximum of eight participants. We will do our best to accommodate requests even on a short notice, but ideally, please give us 4 days of advance notice to allow us set up your private tour. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is a contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.
