Museum is Temporarily Closed

Dear Friends,

As a tourism site welcoming people from all across the country and beyond, we need to make sure we do not take any chances when it comes to the well-being of our visitors and our devoted volunteer crew. There has been a lot of helpful information pouring in on the precautions we all can take to reduce the risk of infection, including frequent hand washing, sanitizing high-touch surfaces, and avoiding larger gatherings. But the bottom line is that our tours are, by their very nature, a social experience - and social distancing, as much as we try to enforce it, may prove difficult.

We want to do everything we can to help #FlattenTheCurve and we believe we can do this most effectively by temporarily closing our museum, effective March 15th. We hope that this protective measure will help with our community's efforts to slow down the rate of this dreadful pandemic. As of now, we are planning to remain closed through the end of April. We will continue evaluating our situation as more information becomes available.

We wish you health and safety and look forward to hosting you again at the Westcott House. In the meantime, please consider visiting our Programs & Events section to learn about various online initiatives we have planned for April.

Please take care of yourself and your loved ones. We will stay in touch!

Warm Regards,
